Shibu Shashank is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Research and Governance on Cyber Law (CRGCL). He brings a strong foundation in cybersecurity, data privacy, and financial regulatory law, blending legal precision with a deep understanding of technology and governance.

A Legal Associate at Ernst & Young (EY GDS), Shibu has previously worked with leading institutions such as Axis Bank and Virupanna Amberker & Co., gaining experience in banking, securities, and compliance frameworks. His research on digital threats and fintech regulation reflects his commitment to building ethical, secure, and transparent digital ecosystems.

At CRGCL, Shibu spearheads initiatives on cyber risk governance, privacy compliance, and digital transformation policy, aligning academic research with real-world industry insights. He envisions CRGCL as a collaborative space where law, technology, and innovation converge to shape India’s digital future.
