Dr Ivneet Kaur Walia is presently working as Registrar (Officiating) and Associate Professor of Law at RGNUL, Patiala, Punjab. Dr. Ivneet is the Centre Coordinator for Centre for Advanced Studies in Cyber Laws and Artificial Intelligence and Faculty Coordinator for Centre for Criminology, Criminal Justice and Victimology at the University. Dr Ivneet Walia has recently been awarded with the post-doctoral degree LL.D.

Dr. Ivneet is the recipient of Henry Dunant Fellowship. She is has completed Post Doctoral Fellowship with South Ural State University, Russia, and has research fellowship with Amity University, Dubai, Tashkent State University of Law, Uzbekistan and is also a fellow to Professor B. Patrick Honnebier, Adjunct Professor at University of Mississippi, USA.

She is a visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak, and Tashkent State university of Law, Uzbekistan. She is also listed as the eminent guest speaker for training at Haryana Police Academy. She is Internationally Trained Lawyer (non-practicing), certified mediator and have completed hands on training for Data Protection Officer. She has also been course instructor at Human Rights Summer School at Proshika, Bangladesh, Romanian-American University, Bucharest, Romania, and at Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk, Poland.

Dr Ivneet has also published two patents and published papers in UGC-CARE and SCOPUS journals and presented papers at national and international conferences. She has authored five books, last one being on ‘Crime, Punishment and Sentencing’ published by Thomson Reuters.
