Ms. Sakshi Rewaria is a distinguished legal academic, researcher, and advocate working at the confluence of cyber law, constitutional governance, criminal justice, and digital rights. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to strengthening the rule of law in an increasingly technology-mediated society. Combining courtroom experience with rigorous scholarship, she brings a rare practice-informed academic perspective that contributes meaningfully to contemporary debates on digital governance and justice delivery in India.
She is a UGC-NET qualified scholar in Law (2023) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law. Sakshi holds an LL.M. in Criminal Law, where she secured Second Position (Silver Medalist), and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), reflecting sustained academic excellence. Her qualifications are further enriched through advanced certifications, international winter and summer schools, and faculty development programmes on artificial intelligence, human rights, ethics, and technology regulation conducted by premier national and global institutions.
Sakshi’s professional journey spans high-level legal practice and academia. As an Associate Advocate, she has assisted and appeared in matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and District Courts, and has contributed to complex civil and criminal litigation. In academia, she serves as a faculty member at the Faculty of Law at the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. She plays a pivotal role in curriculum development, academic mentoring, and institutional leadership, including serving as chair of the Moot Court Committee and contributing to editorial and research initiatives.
Her scholarly output includes book chapters, journal articles, and publications addressing critical issues such as artificial intelligence in the justice system, cybercrime, data protection, privacy, environmental governance, and gender justice. She has also authored analytical opinion pieces for leading national dailies, including The Hindu and The Daily Guardian, translating complex legal developments into informed public discourse.
Sakshi has received multiple Best Paper Presenter Awards and certificates of merit at prestigious national and international conferences. She serves on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Social Studies and Humanities and has been recognised for her academic excellence, research impact, and contributions to emerging domains of cyber and technology law. She has been invited as a Guest Speaker on cyber safety and digital empowerment initiatives and was earlier awarded Best Intern for meritorious legal performance.
