Our Founding Vision
The Centre for Research and Governance on Cyber Law (CRGCL) was established by a group of legal scholars, cybersecurity researchers, and technology policy thinkers driven by a common purpose to build India’s most rigorous, independent platform for cyber law research and governance.
At a time when India’s digital economy is expanding at unprecedented speed, CRGCL was conceived to ensure that legal scholarship keeps pace with technological change. We exist to bridge the gap between law, technology, and public policy by producing research that informs legislation, guides compliance, and advances the rights of citizens in the digital age.
Our Mission
At CRGCL, our mission is to promote interdisciplinary research and public understanding of cyber law, digital rights, and technology regulation. We aim to inform policy, empower students and scholars, and advance thought leadership that contributes to a secure, inclusive, and innovation-friendly digital ecosystem.
